We began this week by talking about the many things we are thankful for as we approach the holiday weekend.  We listened to The Thankful Book to get our brains flowing.

We also listened to this song by Raffi

We are creating gratitude jars to bring home. These jars will be where our little learner can spend each day adding a little drawing of all the things they are thankful for. Thinking of the little things that are great in our life is proven to uplift our mood.

Last week we launched into learning about patterns and this week we will be creating patterns with turkey feathers as we learn about our sense of feeling, migration and birds.

After listening to a story titled the shades of us, each child recieved a crayon or pencil crayon that matched their skin tone.

Watch here to see our creations!

Happy Monday!
